From the shop floor

What body shops say after the switch.

Owners, estimators and office managers on what changed once the back office stopped leaking labor and time.

  • EstVis caught mechanical labor we'd been eating on almost every RO. The supplement alerts paid for the subscription in the first week – it's not close.
Marcus ReyesOwner · Ironclad Collision · Tucson, AZ
  • The guided photo capture changed how the floor works. Techs shoot the sequence, it files itself to the case with the right descriptions, and our supplements stopped getting kicked back.
Danielle CarterProduction Manager · Summit Auto Body · Boise, ID
  • We pre-order parts off the damage photos before the car is even dropped off. The cheaper-part alerts alone save us real money on every other job.
Tomás HerreraParts Manager · Gateway Bodyworks · St. Louis, MO
  • Payroll used to take me a full afternoon. Now it builds from the time logged at each stage and the estimate hours – tuned to exactly how we pay. I review it and it's done.
Priya NairOffice Manager · Crossroads Collision Center · Columbus, OH
  • It pulled straight into our CCC ONE workflow with nothing to rip out, and the data still lives on our own server. That was the deal-breaker for us with everything else.
Greg WhitfieldOwner · Whitfield Family Collision · Greenville, SC
  • Status updates, deductible reminders and review requests just go out as the case moves. Customers stopped calling to ask 'is it ready yet,' and our Google reviews doubled.

Common questions

  • 01What is EstVis?

EstVis is the all-in-one back-office platform for collision repair shops. It connects to CCC ONE, Mitchell, and Audatex, imports every assignment automatically, and runs the rest of the shop on top of it – photo documentation, work authorization, supplements, parts, payrolls, customer notifications, QuickBooks accounting, and quality-control checklists.

  • 02What is Mechanical Labor Recovery?

It is a deterministic conditional audit that runs server-side on every estimate the moment it is imported. Each match is surfaced for review so your team can file the supplement before the file ships. The mechanical rate is typically $30–$60 per hour higher than body. Recovery is modest per RO but consistent month over month – it stacks with paint material supplements, parts price corrections, and additional-services upsell to give a shop a net-positive return on the subscription.

  • 03Is EstVis estimating software? Can I write estimates in it?

No – and that is deliberate. Estimates are still written in CCC ONE, Mitchell, or Audatex, where your estimators already work. EstVis sits on top of those systems and runs the back office: it auto-imports every estimate the moment it is written, then drives photo documentation, parts, payrolls, customer communication, and the mechanical labor audit off that data. It also handles supplements to estimates already in flight – when a bodytech's photo surfaces additional damage, the estimator is notified, the supplement is flagged on the case, and the revised estimate re-imports automatically. You keep your estimating system; EstVis turns its output into a running shop.

  • 04Does EstVis work with CCC ONE, Mitchell, and Audatex?

Yes – all three. Assignments and estimates auto-import every few minutes. Photos and supplements flow both ways. The mechanical labor audit runs on every imported estimate, regardless of which estimating system wrote it.

  • 05How long does installation take?

About 15 minutes total. Installation and configuration take roughly 5 minutes; adding employees takes another 10. EstVis specialists provide free remote-assisted installation. Staff are typically comfortable using the software general features in 2–3 days.

  • 06Where does my data live?

On your own Desktop Server, on-premise – not on a third-party cloud. Cases, photos, invoices, customer records, and payrolls are stored locally. You stay in control, and shop operations keep running during internet outages. Only customer-facing features and insurance imports pause until connectivity returns.

  • 07Does EstVis integrate with QuickBooks?

Yes. Right-click any case to add an invoice, add a payment, sync PayPal payments, or search a repair order by invoice number – all from Workflow. QuickBooks must be running on the same PC. Eliminates double entry between estimating and accounting.

  • 08How is EstVis priced?

Base is $89 per month billed annually or $99 per month billed monthly, with 10 users included. Optional packages – Customer Service, Documentation, and Management – are $89/mo each on annual billing ($99/mo monthly), and each one adds 5 more users. VoIP and QuickBooks integrations are $29 per month each. There is also an Unlimited tier – every package and integration plus unlimited users – for $4,471 per year (annual billing only, includes a 10% bundle discount). First month is free, no credit card required.

  • 09Is there a mobile app for iOS and Android?

Yes – both. The mobile client covers photo documentation by insurance template, VIN and driver's license scanning, parts QR scanning, invoice scanning, and case management on the floor. Launch Scanner integration is Android-only.
