The mechanical labor your estimates bill at the body rate

In CCC® ONE a line's component type and its labor type are independent. For mechanical parts they should match. They routinely do not, and the difference leaves the shop on every affected hour.

CCC ONE

What it costs you today

  1. 01

The estimate got written fast and the line stayed on the default Body rate.

  2. 02

Mechanical is typically 30 to 60 dollars an hour higher than Body, so every hour on that line underbills.

  3. 03

Nobody re-reads a finished estimate line by line, so the file ships and the money is gone.

How it works

  1. 01 / Connect

    CCC ONE connects once

Workflow imports new and updated workfiles continuously. On connection EstVis back-scans the open pipeline as well, not just net-new jobs, so cars already in the shop are covered.

  2. 02 / Audit

    Three conditions, every line

A line is flagged when its component type is mechanical, AND its labor type is not mechanical, AND it carries non-zero billable hours. Same rule, every line, every time – auditable, and not a heuristic.

  3. 03 / Recover

One screen, enough evidence to supplement

Flagged lines group by case with the vehicle, claim number, line description, operation code, the wrong labor type and the exact hours at stake. Your team updates the labor type in CCC ONE or files the supplement – EstVis stays out of CCC's screens.

What to buy for this

Base + Documentation$178/mo billed annually

The audit engine ships in the Documentation package, on top of Base. This is the pairing most shops start with, because it is the one that pays for itself first.

Also consider Management adds the paint materials overrun tracking that catches the refinish side of the same mis-categorized lines, and it is where Corrections Metrics counts the labor hours recovered. Together with the above that is $267/mo billed annually.

Questions shops ask

Does EstVis change my CCC ONE estimates?
No. EstVis surfaces the lines that need attention and gives your team the evidence to act. Updating the labor type or filing the supplement happens in CCC ONE, by your estimator. EstVis never writes into CCC's screens.
Is this a report someone has to remember to run?
No. The audit runs server-side and continuously, as estimates arrive and change in CCC ONE. There is no scheduled job and no forgotten report.
How many false positives should we expect?
None by design. The rule is deterministic and has three conditions: component type is mechanical, labor type is not mechanical, and the line has billable hours. A flagged line either meets all three or it is not flagged.
How soon does it find anything?
Typically the first business day after CCC ONE is connected, because the initial scan covers the open pipeline rather than waiting for the next new assignment.
